EAB University Presents "Management Options vs. the Ash Tree Mortality Curve"

EAB University will be presenting a webinar by Jim Zwack of the Davey Institute on Monday Nov. 19th. Jim's presentation will kick off our special Municipal webinar series, with critical EAB info for municipal decision makers who are currently working on 2013 budget plans. Our second webinar in the series is Thurs. Nov. 29th "Memo to City Managers" and will be given by Chad Tinkel, City forester in Ft. Wayne, who has a powerful EAB management message to share.

Emerald Ash Borer University Presents: "Management Options vs. the Ash Tree Mortality Curve." Jim Zwack, Technical Director, Davey Institute Thursday, November 19th, 2012 at 11 AM (EST). To log into the session, go to www.emeraldashborer.info . Jim Zwack has a B.S. in Urban Forestry from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in Tree Physiology from Iowa State University. He is the Director of Technical Services at the Davey Institute, and played a key role in the development of Davey's EAB management strategy. He has made dozens of presentations on this topic and others in the industry. Jim has previously chaired the Education Committee of the Minnesota Society of Arboriculture, served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Commercial Arboriculture, and is currently the Chairman-Elect of the TREE Fund. The live session will provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions of the session presenter and moderators.
